Escape Media Group, Inc. is a privately owned company operated out of Gainesville, FL. Escape Media Group was founded in 2006 by three entrepreneurs at the University of Florida.

Our Mission
Our mission is—and has been since the beginning—to provide exciting new ways for people to access digital media. Beginning with our first venture, Grooveshark, we aim to revolutionize the way music is acquired online. By leveraging the advantages of many of the current industry leaders and adding our own spice to the recipe, we will create a system that is truly beneficial to music fans, artists, and creative rights owners.
